Rosé Vodka Is Here So You Can Get A New Take On The Classic Martini

Who doesn’t love rosé? From the crisp, fruity taste, to the cold refreshing feeling it gives you, it is truly the go-to drink of summer. However, in the winter months, it can feel like forever looking forward to summer when people start unscrewing the corks of rosé wine at outdoor parties and evening drinks.

While you might be longing to drink it again in the blazing sunshine, there is another way you can get around the taboo and get that rosé fix in winter.

Hangar 1 Vodka has answered every rose lovers wishes by creating a new rosé vodka. Not only does it contain the rosé pink color, but it is also a totally unique taste. In order to create the vodka, the process starts with distilling grains and grapes which is then combined with a Northern California rosé blend of Petit Verdot and White Meritage, something that was combined purely for this new beverage. Unsurprisingly the results taste like a true blend of vodka and rosé.

Hangar 1’s head distiller, Caley Shoemaker described the new, hybrid beverage as “an exploration of all the wonderful things you can get from grape.” As for the inspiration to bring two different alcoholic beverages together, Shoemaker said,”We looked at the booming rosé trend throughout America and in my own backyard, and created something that wine lovers will want to sit and sip year long.” Shoemaker also described that people are not used to sipping vodka and it is not that easy to sip on, so bringing rosé into it, made it much more drinkable.

However, despite Hangar 1 calling it “a first-of-its-kind blend in the vodka category,” we have seen other alcohol blends using rosé including rosé gin, rosé tequila, and rosé rum. Nevertheless, the prospect of being able to drink a rosé martini isn’t something that many people are going to complain about.
