The 2019 edition of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival ran from late August until late November and presented its visitors with countless dishes and drinks from all over the world. Ropa Vieja Empanada

Found at the Islands of the Caribbean booth, this Cuban-style dish is simply hands down the best bite at the festival. The braised beef meat is wrapped in savory and flaky pie dough and topped with tomato aioli. It’s so good that you won’t get enough of it and will keep craving for it for months to come. 

Ravioli Carbonara

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Italy booth made its way into the limelight with pasta. However, this dish may be too much for carbonara purists who like to keep things traditional. The sauce is cream-based and is as delicious as the classic egg yolk sauce. The pasta has eye-catching gold hues and the ideal thickness for containing all the cheese. It is egg-enriched and coupled with bacon, which adds extra flavor and makes the dish more savory. 

Warm Chocolate Pudding with Irish Cream Custard

Every food aficionado knows that the Epcot festival wouldn’t be complete without a plethora of mind-blowing desserts, and the warm chocolate pudding with Irish cream custard at the Ireland booth is without a shadow of a doubt the crown jewel in the menu. It is the rich, gluttonous molten chocolate cake that everybody adores. A creamy liqueur glaze only makes things better.  

Madras Red Curry

Any vegetarian would instantly fall in love with the Madras red curry at the India booth. Like any tasty curry, it’s seasoned with just enough salt and packed with a myriad of spices that are a delight for the senses. The crisp-tender cauliflower is the focal ingredient in the dish, and it is fabulous. 

Black Pepper Shrimp with Garlic Noodles

The China booth won countless visitors with this flavourful dish. The shrimp is flawlessly cooked and very tender, whereas the bed of spicy noodles is a masterpiece of its own. You won’t regret Indulging yourself in it. 

The Epcot food festival is an amazing experience for the senses, so make sure to try as many new things as possible and enrich your diet.

In the world of comics, you have many superhero groups such as the X-Men and The Avengers. Each unique superhero joins forces to fight for a greater cause than themselves. However, we don’t think we’ve ever seen a superhero team quite like this one. When McDonald’s Man, Krispy Kreme Man, Eat n’ Park-Man and The Burger King locked arms in unison, we knew that they were going to be a force to be reckoned with, combining their shared calorific powers.

Look at those two boys go! We never realized that two dogs could demonstrate such awesome teamwork…oh, wait a second. Sorry, our bad. For a minute there, we actually thought that two canines were walking on their hind legs as they carry a wrapped present to their neighbor’s birthday party. There’s nothing quite like the power of illusion. Once you realize that there is only one dog (the one at the front), this a Halloween pet costume for the ages!

If you have a young pet, the best thing to do for Halloween is to try and make their costume as scary as possible. That’s exactly what this owner did, taking their beloved kitten and dressing her up as a vampire bat. However, we can’t imagine this little furball sucking our blood any time soon. She’s more likely to climb up her owner and lick their face. Question: can you die from an overdose of cuteness? We think we’ve found the answer.

Has there ever been a more iconic duo in the world of video games? For the last few decades, the Super Mario Bros have been a classic go-to Halloween costume for best friends around the globe. However, never before have we seen an owner and his pet don the classic Nintendo plumber outfits. While this owner was happy to take a step back and dress up as the supporting brother Luigi, he let his dog take center stage as canine Mario. Warning – be on the lookout for Bow-Wowzer.

Anything has the potential to look valiant and noble with the right costume. While this dog probably has no idea what it’s dressed up as, it is clear to us that he is supposed to be a horse. Specifically, it is a horse that is currently mounted by a knight figurine. This is one example of a pet costume for which we believe a video would do more justice than a photo. We’d love to see the dog “gallop” all the way to the park.

Has there ever been a cuter duo in the history of Halloween? We don’t think so. Recently, Lucasfilm released the movie Solo: A Star Wars Story, detailing the early days of Han Solo and his partner in crime, Chewbacca. It’s essentially a prequel to the original Star Wars movies. However, if this photo is anything to go by, we would be more than happy to go back even further to the days of baby Han and his pet, baby Chewie.

In life, we can get extremely distracted, taking our attention away from the things that matter the most. Technology is one of the biggest things that gets in the way. With more and more people every day owning smartphones, we struggle to look up from time to time and focus on our loved ones. So this owner decided to solve the problem by dressing his beloved pet as an “iPug.” Multi-tasking has never looked so cute.

You need some geeky glasses, the Gryffindor scarf, a robe, and the lightning bolt scar. This owner ticked all four boxes when he dressed up his adorable hound. You can tell that this little cutie can’t get enough of J.K. Rowling’s classic stories. Let’s put it this way: he is sitting specifically on this pair of books for a reason!

Well, we’ve heard of Batman, and we’ve also heard of Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman. However, never in our wildest dreams did we imagine seeing a cat dressed up as Batman. So I guess we can call this little furball “Catman.” Unlike most actors who have played Bruce Wayne, who need to cover their upper face with black face paint in order to preserve their identity, this person’s pet already has black fur where it matters. The Dark Knight has never had such penetrating eyes.

Another classic example of the slightest visual trickery, which produces yet another epic costume! In what initially looks like a dog being eaten by a crocodile, it soon becomes apparent that it is the owner’s “best friend” who is wearing the pants in this family. He is literally wearing the costume, using the gator’s front legs for his hind ones. To be honest, we have never seen a living thing look so nonchalant after being half eaten by a crocodile.

Sometimes, one needs to simply make the most of their own identity in order to rock an awesome costume. So when this owner dressed up their feline pet as The Cat in the Hat, it didn’t take that much work. It’s already a cat. Literally, all the owner needed to do was knit the iconic hat, bow-tie, and gloves – and voila! Dr. Seuss’s anthropomorphic, fun-loving cat is brought to life, just in time for Halloween.

If you don’t know what Pokemon is, then where have you been during the last two decades? Anyone who played the classic Nintendo game on their Gameboy remembers playing as Ash, the curious boy who embarks on an adventure, collecting monsters, both big and small, with magical powers. In the original game, you have to choose one of three Pokemon: either A) Bulbasaur, B) Squirtle or C) Charmander. It looks like this guy decided to go with option A.

Without Merlin, we probably wouldn’t get other classic wizards such as Gandalf The Grey and Albus Dumbledore. So when this pet owner decided to go back to the roots of this classic character, he decided to dress his guinea pig up as the Arthurian wizard. Word of advice: if you ever cross paths with Guinea Pig Merlin on Hallow’s Eve, make sure to tread lightly. You never know what spells he might be keeping in that pointy hat of his.

When you see someone with a cane and wearing a top hat, there’s normally one person who comes to mind: the one and only Fred Astaire. Despite having passed away over three decades ago, there is no denying the man’s influence on the world of entertainment. His legacy has stretched so far that even crustaceans want to dress like him. Let’s face it: the costume is incredibly simple. However, when you put it on a crab, the end result is priceless.

Look, if you’re not into the Marvel movies, you might not completely get this one. However, anyone familiar with Norse mythology is aware that there is a character called Thor, who is the God of Thunder. He is the Prince of Asgard, who wields the powerful hammer Mjolnir. So, with that little history lesson out of the way, let’s get down to the point: we can’t get over Hedgehog Thor’s tiny hammer. Seriously, he’s holding the darn thing!!!

Without question, this bunny was more than happy to take on the role of Robin.

Everybody knows an old lady with a similar appearance to this dog’s costume. She’s lived a long life, seen the world, and raised a ton of puppies. Now, all she wants to do is live a nice, quiet life. However, you know that Mrs. Barker’s door is always open and that at a moment’s notice, she won’t hesitate to heat up some soup for you on a rainy day. Mrs. Barker isn’t just an appearance; she’s a way of life.

We’re not too sure what makes people think this way, but many would claim that if you put a beret and a scarf on anything, it automatically looks French. While we don’t necessarily agree with that stereotype, facts are facts: a beret is a French word. One thing’s for sure, the clothing combination does raise one’s level of sophistication, astronomically. Although the pet in question isn’t a skunk, we can’t help but think of the classic Looney Toons character Pepe Le Pew.

While it has been done to death (literally) and is considered these days to be a lazy move, how many people thought of putting it on their pet? Apparently, it’s pretty easy to dress up as Nick Fury for Halloween. All you need is a long black coat and an eyepatch. However, it’s also the cat’s menacing gaze that takes this pet costume to a whole new level…

Many of these pet costumes allude to classic characters in pop culture. However, why not dress your pet as an upstanding member of society? Why not make them look like someone who is protecting our neighborhoods and saving lives every day? Apparently, it was very easy to cut a hole through a toy fire truck and fit it onto a dog. We don’t think we’ve ever met a firefighter with a purer heart than this guy.
