Starbucks Has Just Opened Its First Italian Store, And It’s Beautiful

Starbucks has certainly made a name for themselves around the world, but many coffee lovers may wish to travel to Italy to see the Starbucks Reserve Roastery. The gorgeous space is the first Starbucks to open in Italy, but it has certainly gone above the rest with its old-fashioned Italian exterior and very modern interior.

Moreover, this is not like walking into any Starbucks, this is, in fact, where coffee dreams come true. In the Disneyland for coffee lovers, customers will get to have their caffeine fixes while also getting to see the entire process of the coffee making. While most Starbucks customers just get a glimpse of baristas using an espresso machine and perhaps a pump for syrup, this Italian Starbucks offers a viewing of raw coffee beans being turned into a proper cup of coffee.

The roastery gets even better by offering its own bakery. This Starbucks has a wood-fired over to make freshly baked pastries, beating the likes of the pre-made wraps and sandwiches that we’re all used to seeing. To go one better, the roastery also serves over 100 different specialty and traditional cocktails at the Arriviamo Bar when day turns into night.

If you can make the trip to Milan, it is definitely worth a visit. However, if you’re a coffee lover who can’t make this dream come true, or have no plans to visit Milan anytime soon, then have no fear, because Starbucks U.S. is releasing a new drink in honor of the new Italian opening.

It has been reported that, according to a press release, the Cordusio is “an espresso-forward mocha with a light dusting of cocoa powder, served in a ‘short’ 8 oz size.” This will be around for a limited time only, so it is time to get to a Starbucks near you and check it out.
