All About Potatoes
If you’re just as obsessed with potatoes as we are, you’ll know that they are pretty darn delicious. They are some of the most versatile foods in the world, and you have the chance to roast them, boil them, chop them up, and even mash them. Mashed potato is delicious and goes with various different dishes. However, you can really miss it if you’re cutting out carbs.
A Different Option
If you still want to have something mashed alongside your runner beans and your fried chicken, then you can rest easy knowing that there is another option. Instead of mashing up your potato, why not mash up a cauliflower? Mashed cauliflower is a low-carb substitute that looks and tastes fairly similar. Of course, you do need a few extra ingredients to make it perfect.

The Extra Ingredients
To make the perfect mashed cauliflower, you’ll need two heads of cauliflower, 6 ounces of cream cheese, a ⅓ cup of milk, salt, pepper, chives, and butter. After boiling the cauliflower until it’s soft, mash it down to a potato-like consistency and then add in the extra ingredients – making sure that you season with salt, pepper, and chives.
Our mouth is watering just thinking about this mashed cauliflower…
